(Give Language to Flowers), 2021

<꽃들에게 언어를 주자> 는 메타휴먼 크리에이터(Meta Human Creator)를 활용해 백 명의 가상인물들을 만들어낸 후, 실제인물의 얼굴을 모션 캡쳐(motion capture)해 ‘나는 꽃이 아니다’, ‘나는 꽃이다’ 라는 문장을 가상인물을 통해 발화한 작업이다. 음성은 텍스트 작업 <아무 일>을 속삭이며 낭독하는 것으로 대신했다.

<Give Language to Flowers> utilizes Meta Human Creator to generate one hundred virtual characters, capturing real faces via motion capture technology. These virtual beings articulate statements like “I am not a flower” and “I am a flower.” The work also features a whispered recitation of the text piece <A, No,Thing> as its voiceover.
